Good Afternoon Fellow Scented Wax Lovers.......Today I am blogging about Tartalicous Wax melts......

I tried 3 different scents, Fuzzy Navel, Monkey Farts and Blossom and Berries.....

 

 

 

Monkey Farts.......Beautifully Fruity, Juicy Berries and Bananas, notes of Citrus Fruits.....really does tingle the taste buds and packs a gorgeous punch.....

 

 

Blossom and Berries -

A perfect mix of Sweet Juicy Berries.....Fabulous Floral Undertones.....delicate but at the same time full bodied.....

 

 

 

 

Fuzzy Navel - I got a lot of different smells from this scent, I picked up the smell of juicy berries, citrus fruits and sweets......sweets that you would buy from an Old Fashion Sweet Shop.....this scent is delicious and complex......tingles the taste buds and was extremely strong filling the whole house with its Succulent Scent......this scent was loved by everyone in the home and both my Husband and Niece commented on how much they loved it.......

What I Have Been Melting

Good Morning - sunny in Bedford though a little nippy at the moment - as I sit here typing my little girl Isla is sitting on a bar stool watching a Barbie Movie from the telly on the kitchen surface - my way of stopping all 3 girls from fighting over who is going to watch what :)

I received another package this morning from Tartalicious, all smelling just gorgeous, will melt and review soon ready for blogging.......

Yesterday I decided on melting two wax melts from a company called Candle Scents.......

Mermaid Kisses was what I decided on for my Living Room.....such a pretty scent with slight floral undertones but with a fresh kick to it......it filled the whole room with its wonderful scent and melts like a dream :)

For the kitchen I decided on Bahama Spa - Sea, Sand and Sun.....relaxing scent with a feeling of sunshine.....

Parma Violets handmade by Secret Bundle......smells just like the SWEETS !!!!! the beautiful scent filled the hallway carrying itself all the way upstairs into the bedroom......delightful and sweet.......lovely little addition from my SUBBY SCENT BOX :)

Today I have gone for Rosegirls Lavender and Rosegirls Blackberry Amber - the Lavender scent it just what it is, Lavender.....which I adore and find such a relaxing scent which is fab when I have 3 girls to run around after ;)

Blackberry Amber......deliciously fruity with such a warm undertone......stunning scent 10/10.

Sunday Scents

Good Morning Fellow Scent Wax Lovers !!!! Sunny Morning in Bedford and Hubby's Birthday :)

I have picked out 3 scents for today - first of all I going to start with the scent I picked from my Subby Scent Box -

A Cute Cupcake styled candle !!!

 

I removed the little chick and confetti and decided for a very pretty effect to place the candle in a Sundae Dish - how pretty :)

This scent is sweet and delightful - it has a perfect blend of creamy vanilla and tingle the taste buds lemon - it smells delightful, like summer and baking - this is a very pretty addition to The Subby Scent Box !!!!!

The funny side to this scent was when my 3 year old daughter Isla saw it she though it was a Birthday Cupcake for my Hubby's birthday and asked for a bite - out popped the bottom lip when I explained to her it was actually a candle but the little chick soothed the disappointment !!!!!

The scent I have picked for my kitchen today is Toffee Apple from Lubylu - I was introduced to Lubylu when I found Fresh Linen Love Heart Wax Melts in My Subby Scent Box and feel in love instantly with the quality :)

 

   Pretty Bag and Label.

 

Cream coloured wax melt with pink and green chunks topped with glitter.

Melts beautifully and the wax shimmers, so pretty and you can see the glitter floating around :)

The scent is stunning - Juicy Apples and Creamy Toffee blend perfectly together leaving the kitchen smelling FAB - it reminds me of Toffee Apples at Halloween :) 10/10 easily for this scent.

 

The other scent I picked out was Fairy Kisses by Lubylu

 

Pretty Bag and Label

 

cream coloured wax melt with Yellow and Pink wax chunks and topped with Glitter.

This scent is just beautiful - perfect blend of citrus and floral - Summer Springs to mind with this scent - fills the whole living room with its pretty scent - I adore the name Fairy Kisses :) for me this scent is girly and adorable !!!!! you can not go wrong giving Lubylu Wax Melts ago - high standard of quality and stunning scents - perfect packaged - everything is done with great care and love.

4 Scents

Good Morning, a little overcast in Bedford this morning but I think some sunshine could be on its way this afternoon :)

This morning I decided to try out 4 scents -

I picked 2 Scents from my Subby Scent Box -

Busy Bee's Snuggles - this is a very soothing scent, for me it does smell like clean laundry but it gives the feeling of warm blankets from the tumble dryer, also a feeling of being snuggled up with a freshly washed child in clean nightwear...a warming scent.....a must try 10/10

Village Candle Cosy Home - 8 little wax cubes in a plastic container !!!! this scent is so warming, cinnamon, baking, Christmas, warmth of home and family......melts beautifully !!!! 10/10

The other 2 scents I have picked out for today are Seasons Change Island Fresh......Fresh, Strong, Melts very well, I think of the sea and sand when I melt this scent......calming and relaxing......this scent would be perfect to melt whilst you enjoy a long hot bubble bath, a glass of your fave tipple and a rather large bar of milk chocolate. 10/10

2 Scents Picked from My Subby Scent Box

I have picked out 2 scents from Subby Scent Box to melt today - Busy Bee's Green Tea and Lemon Grass - Perfect Blend of Herbal and Citrus.....The Green Tea and Lemon Grass blend beautifully together.....stunning kitchen scent for me and has a real relaxing feeling so also perfect for enjoying a beautiful hot bubble bath with this scent in the background 10/10

as you can see in the picture the little pot of Green Tea and Lemongrass - I simply can't wait to try the other 2 scents - Busy Bee wax melts are stunning and I have had a few over the last few months so when they appeared in The Subby Scent Box I was over the moon - a real good addition to the box :)


 The other I have picked out is LubyLu Fresh Linen Love Heart Melts - popped 2 in my burner and they instantly started to melt beautifully - Smells fresh....Clean Washing....Bright and Breezy clothes on your line in the summer breeze.....simply stunning 10/10 easily

 

These Little Love Hearts are so cute - pretty sheer bag and pretty label - LubyLu is a great addition to The Subby Scent :)

Another review today - this is from a company called CANDLE SCENTS !!!!!!

Coconut and Lime - a perfect luscious blend of citrus and sweet coconut - simply stunning !!!!!!!

Scent With Love Wax Melts

Scent With Love is a fab play on words !!!! I instantly fell in love with the cute shapes of these wax melts.......So I placed an order and receive it very quickly.......Happy with the Packaging and everything is labelled nicely too.......

Gingerbread Kisses - Spices mixed perfectly with a Bready Scent - a scent of home Baking filled my kitchen making it feel warm and cosy - perfect Christmas/Winter Scent........

Pink Lemonade - Melts beautifully - Tingles the Tastebuds - a beautiful combination of Lemon, I can pick up undertones of floral (very slightly) beautiful refreshing scent......

I am very much looking forward to trying the other scents and will keep everyone updated........

Subby Scent

Today I am going to Blog about a New Business called Subby Scent.....

This afternoon I received the parcel in the Post......a regular sized Easter Themed Box......it was loving package with simple brown parcel paper stamped with vintage/shabby chic stamps !!!!

                                                Beautiful Stamps used for the packaging.

As I opened the box I was hit with a mixture of the most delightful scents......I emptied the contents out on the table and was simply delighted with everything !!!!!

Making My Own Scented Simmering Graunles

I often buy Scented Simmering Granules off the Internet which I love - small granules that are coloured and scented - place 2 tsp in your burner and pop your tea light underneath and as the granules heat up the scent fills the room :)

For me Scented Granules really are a great idea so I decided to make some of my own -

 

so this is what I needed

1 bag of Dishwasher Salt Granules (not flakes)
A choice of scented Oils
and food colouring

I measured on 300 grams of the granules and poured them into a jar and then added the whole bottle of scented oil and then food colouring (as much or as little as you want).

Place the lid on the jar and shake as much as possible so the colour and oil blend very well......line a baking tray with tin foil or baking paper and pour the granules evenly over the surface - let dry in a safe place for 24-48 hours.

Once dried pour the granules carefully back into a clean jar and place on the lid.

 

I made Sweetpea, Lemon and Lime, Bubble Gum and Pear Drops.


I will be sending some for a couple of my friends to try so I spooned some of each scent into little bags and labelled them which looks very nice indeed.

Such a lovely Little Project to do with your kiddies :)
